The house was packed with members of the Kitchener Waterloo communities highlighting the regions interest in the topic and enviable position as a leading Canadian community.

The message of the panelists was simple. Copenhagen failed to deliver an international climate agreement that many believe is required to solve the climate crisis. Regional and private sector actors should not wait for international or domestic law before taking action. By looking to what is happening in Europe and Asia, we can see the opportunity to thrive in the new, low-carbon economy.
