| Laura Zizzo :

Laura Zizzo is a lawyer and environmental advisor with over a decade of experience dealing with environmental and legal issues related to climate change. She has experience working on complex environmental transactions and litigation as well as drafting and negotiating emissions trading contracts. Laura enjoys providing strategic advice to clients related to sustainability, climate change, carbon offsets and related matters. She previously worked as a lawyer with the renowned Environmental Law practice group of a national law firm. Before entering the field of law, Laura worked in strategic policy research for the Ontario Ministry of Finance and for the Hamilton Region Conservation Authority. In her final year of law school, Laura was co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of International Law and International Relations.
Laura is co-chair and co-founder of the Climate Change Lawyers Network, a member of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) committee on Environmental Law, the Canadian Bar Association and is a volunteer presenter for The Climate Project – Canada. She has a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and a law degree from the University of Toronto and is called to the Bar of Ontario. |

| Travis J. Allan :

Travis J. Allan is a lawyer and strategic advisor who takes a multi-disciplinary approach to climate issues. Travis has experience in international transactional, environmental and First Nations law, which he combines with a strong academic grounding in policy and economics. Before joining Zizzo Allan Climate Law LLP, Travis practiced at one of the world’s largest law firms in New York, NY focusing on project finance and corporate restructuring. Subsequently, he articled at a boutique firm in Toronto specializing in environmental and First Nations law.
Travis is a member of the Ontario and New York bars. |
